CHARLOTTETOWN (CP) -- A study on early childhood care on Prince Edward Island is recommending the province provide better wages and training programs.

The study found a high turnover rate and that of 335 workers across the province, 108 aren't trained in the field. It also found up to a $6.50 per hour wage disparity between educators teaching kindergarten and educators teaching four-year-olds and younger.
