Daycares facing fee hikes in Toronto

...so one of the issues that council [Toronto City Council] was talking about this week was about 51 childcare centres, that is 3,000 spaces - that were slated to be developed in local schools and unless the province follows through with the commitment to provide the operating funding for those spaces, they're just not going to be built. Now those 3,000 spaces are the kind of thing that would make a real difference for families in those communities to be able to access childcare.
