Consultation on the proposed child care licensing regulation: What we heard

Alberta's Child Care Licensing Act was introduced in the legislature in March 2007. Between May and July 2007, the Ministry of Children's Services held a public consultation to gather Albertans' input on the regulations, policies and standards needed to support the new Act. The report you are reading documents the results of this work. The ideas and opinions Albertans put forward will be used to shape a Child Care Licensing Regulation that supports quality child care and responds to the changing child care needs of modern-day families.
