Description:

Coordinated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the Minnesota Child Care Policy Research Partnership (MCCPRP) was developed to conduct sound research on child care issues of relevance to policymakers at the state, local and national levels.

Based on a series of quarterly interviews over two years with parents and children in four Minnesota counties, Deborah Ceglowski and her research team developed Child Care Through the Eyes of Parents, Children and Child Care Providers, a highly detailed picture of families' experiences with child care. In this study, Significant Male Figure's Perceptions of Child Care, fathers or significant male figures' perceptions of and involvement in child care is addressed.
